The resort is not brand new, but is in excellent condition. But do not go to Hedo 2 if you are looking for the very best facilities on the island. Go to Hedo 2 to have a really fun time.
Hedo 2 is great for couples who want to have fun together and meet new people. We are not swingers, and most people we met were also not, and we had a great time having a party together, drinking together, doing games together, cruise together, etc. or just laying on the beach with my wife.
And, if you want, you can do it all naked, or not. You can have fun without getting naked - there are just as many activities on the "prude" side as the "nude" side. Either way, there are fun activities all day long.
The people: mostly couples, 30-50 years old (some younger, some older also), all races, all body types, several nationalities, very friendly, all party minded, some swingers.
Food: Very good. Several places and styles to choose. Great grill for Jerk Chicken & burgers. Very good bars, plenty of booze, good service by staff.
Summary: If you want to go to a place that is great fun with lots of activities, and maybe even get naked, this is the place to have fun. If you want "pretty & perfect" and to lay around all week, I suggest going somewhere else.
