Breezes Montego Bay 06/18/01

Anyone who has a planned trip to Breezes Montego Bay, I would urge you to cancel it immediately. This is the worst resort my husband and I have ever seen. We took the Super Suprise package which we later found out most people get sent to Breezes Montego Bay. If we didn't upgrade (for a fee of course), we would have preferred to cancel our trip than to stay there. Here is why: room only big enough to fit the queen bed, little bugs and ants in room (5th floor), room floor was so dirty we walked around with our shoes on, plumbing fixtures leak, showers had cold water, cd player in every room-they must have been repairing ours, no available outlets in room, broken furniture with no available drawer space (limited to one dresser), pool towels were all soiled, unfriendly staff, uncleanliness of entire resort. Now for the food, if you can call it that, was absolutely horrible and leftovers were served for breakfast. The pool grill fried your food in old black oil, pre-cooked burgers soaked in ???(I don't want to know). The only good thing was the beach was beautiful. The entire resort is situated on only 2 1/2 acres. We could not believe a resort like this could remain in business...it seemed pretty deserted as well. Be warned! We transfered to Breezes Runaway Bay and it was a huge step above Breezes Montego Bay.
