What a place, when can I go back?? The Grand Lido Negril was more than I expected. Here are the pluses...Room was spacious, clean and right on the beach (c/o side, stayed clothed most of the time and did not mind others, it was all very high class). Food was plentiful, non repetitive and fresh. Drinks were unreal, little or no wait all day and night. Activities: spa, tennis, workout, runs on the beach, the Zein was a huge hit, so was snorkling. The staff was a delight, made some true friends and tried to show appreciation. TimAir flight from Mobay was the ticket. Only a few minuses..check in was slow, room was not ready til after four, next time will head for the beach and bar..French resturant was too fru-fru for my taste, food was heavy also..could use a little more seafood throughout the resort. Going home thru Mobay airport was a huge headache, long lines and waits.flights delayed..Overall I am in withdrawl and would return tomorrow. Grand Lido was worth the dollar I paid.
