holiday inn sunspree 10/03/01

We have just returned from the holiday inn.We travelled with our two daughters aged 9 and 6.We all had a great time.The children loved the kids club,which ran from 9am until 9pm.Our eldest daughter met other kids of similar age and we could not get her to leave.
The restaurant food was brilliant and the buffet was just okay,a little repetative,but the desserts were fabulous.We stayed in one of the newly decorated rooms,in block 4,floor 4 with a room directly over looking the water sports,great view.The room was large with two double beds and tiled floor and always spotlessly clean.We used to leave our coffee
machine half filled so we could just heat it up but always on our return the housekeeper would have cleaned it out and left fresh coffee.
The swimming pool was fabulous and because it was fairly shallow always felt the children was safe.
There was plenty of places to eat besides the restaurants,the pool bar served hot dogs,fries,sandwiches and burgers.
The children had their own hut serving pizza,icecream,popcorn and fries.
A little further down the beach was the jurk hut that sold jurk chicken.
The beach was shallow and a bit weedy but to be honest the pool was all you needed the beach was fine for sun bathing but not swimming.
The hotel ran an excellent activity programme so you could be as active or as lazy as you wished.
For all those planning a trip to Jamaica if you do stay at the Sunspree I hope you have a fantastic holiday.We all did and it will be a holiday that we talk about for some years to come.
