Jamaica Renaissance Grande 11/15/01

We spent 1 week at this beautiful resort in March, 2001. We were on the 6th floor in the South Tower overlooking the pool and beach. Each morning we watched the cruise ships dock. Everything in this resort was wonderful from the staff to the decor to the food. The rooms are nothing special but you spend very little time in your room. Our kids said it was the best vacation they have ever had. For side trips we climbed Dunn's River Falls. We swam with the dolphins at Dolphin Cove and we river rafted and tubed at the White River with Calypso Rafters. We shopped downtown 2 or 3 times and the people do love to barter. They are really no more pushy than the vendors n Nassau. They have to be pushy because they all sell the same merchandise! The bus ride from the airport was a solid 2 hours and yes they do dirve like maniacs but just listen to the bus driver tell you about Jamaica and it passes quickly! If you have any ?'s I would be only to happy to answer them for

you!
