RUI Tropical Resort 12/04/01

Over all we enjoyed our trip to Rui Tropical Resort. The rooms were spacious with two double beds pushed together. It did have a mildew order though. The balcony was very nice with an ocean view. I loved the in room bar with vodka, beer etc. We did half to tip to get it filled.

The beach was wonderful with plenty of lounges available. The pool was a pool, no big deal. The bars were plentiful with very friendly bartenders. Everyone at the resort was very friendly. Probably one of the best things about the resort.

The food was adequate. I just didnít care for the formality of the evening meal; it had a 6:45 and 8:30 seating. It was like I was on a cruise. So, if you like cruises, this is for you. I didnít feel safe outside the resort. We were told not to walk down the beach past the resort where it was deserted.
