This review is for a 4 night AI vacation. After landing in Jamacia,from Philly, and a short 20 minute bus ride to our hotel, a quick check-in, we found our room ready, putting us on the beach, lunch and a drink in hand by 12:30. There was some seaweed close to the beach but futher out in the warm water it was "no problem". As for the service cards we did not see that as a major problem (as opposed to he goofy wrist bands which can leave a tan line) and we just tossed the copys in the trash, getting a kick seeing how much we did not spend out of pocket. The food, from the buffets, was not bad, not great, but we were never disapointed, after all most buffets are not fantastic anyway. We ate in the on-site Italian resturant one night getting a very good meal maybe not 4 star but a solid 3.5 and seeing the $140 bill I did not have to pay. I did cash tip the head waiter after he told us the tip would be split. Everything else was just great. Sittin on the terrace after a day in the sun with a drink and some popcorn, strolling the grounds or the beach, resting in the hot tubs or pools or lounging in our room with a view of the ocean and mountains the Wyndham was first class. Sure sometimes service was slow, but hey, we're on vacation why worry? The staff was, in all, very good, settin up tours, helping us get our video of Dunns River Falls, and the best; part lettin us keep our cards, getting lunch, and room, securing luggage and showering, after an 11:00 check-out until our 3:00 bus pick up to, saddly, return to reality.
