The 4 of us just returned from 6 nights @ JTV (MoBay). Wow! What a great place! It's about 5 min away from Sangster airport, which makes it easy. Immediately upon arriving @ JTV, we were treated like return guests with rum punch all around. Check in was quick & the bellman took our baggage to floor #3 right away (via stairs, no elevator). It seems that each room has an ocean view. Really nice to wake up to & great for the sunsets. The room was large enough for us, as all we did was sleep & shower there. Not the Hilton, but much nicer than Motel6. Face it, you're not going on vacation for a hotel room. The grounds in all are really nice. Although lots of little things need mending here & there. The food was excellent! Something for everyone at each meal. The bar was great too! Quick service & made to your liking. Always plenty to drink, 10am to 1am. The beach was small but really nice & clean. Swimming area has some coral growing right there, along with other sea life. All of the staff was great! The SEA folks have got to be the most versatile people I've ever met. Athletes by day, actors by night! The dining room staff were prompt with the cleanups & serving of beverages. The bartenders were some of the nicest folks I've ever met. Housekeeping did a great job keeping up with the sand we brought back each day. I miss them all already. Too bad we got to know them so late in our trip. In all, JTV is a great value for the money. There's plenty to do @ the resort & even more outside the gate. Be warned, outside the gate everyone wants to sell you something & they are persistent. "No, Thank you" works most of the time. I can hardly wait to go back!
