Legends Beach Resort 05/27/02

I have been to Jamaica 3 times now, and for the first time stayed in the incredible Negril Area at the Legends Beach Resort. Their sister hotel is Samsara on the Cliff side.

Legends was great for what I consider a 3 star hotel. The staff was always willing to help, and immediately at your service. I only ate breakfast at the hotel, and it was reasonably priced for all you can eat for 300 JA dollars (about 6US$).

The location couldn't be any better. It is directly in the middle of all the dining and nightlife. Risky Business is right next door, De Buss is only 2 properties over, and Alfreds is about a 4 minutes walk.

The beach is beautiful needless to say, calm waters, always beach chairs available, Legends bar is right there so you leave your beach chair walk up to the bar, and return back to lounging.

I would highly recommend this hotel as it's very very reasonably priced. I paid for 80$ CDN/night (high season) I did however bargain by email, so don't take what you see on their website as written in stone. The rates for that time of year were priced at $110 US/night. Big difference from what I managed to get. AND, I got beachfront view after the 3rd day.

I WOULD DEFINETLY STAY AGAIN.
