Just spent 2 weeks at the BRB. Initially a little unsure whether Jamaica was the right place for us. After 2 weeks - that passed too quickly - we have both fallen in love with the island. Although we arrived during aweful storms - BRB appeared unaffected. First appearence was that we had arrived at a well cared for resort. The entertainments team were wonderful - keeping us occupied during the unexpected weather. All staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were simple but clean and spacious - the bathroom was super after some we had experienced on the Med. Drinks were premium brands - and other than the ice that was added (I have mine without ice) were not watered down. Loads of watersports were available - including free scuba. The only downfall for myself was the food - but having said that I am quite picky. Breakfast gave a large varied selection and was very good. I did get a little fed up with the buffets and would have paid highly for a fillet steak. The starlight bar - when open was quite good. I myself was not really impressed by the Itallian. The two steaks I did try in there were pretty aweful. However starters, sweets, and everything else were ok. We would certainly look at returning in the future Sue and Terry Newark - United Kingdom
