I want vacation shoppers to know that this property has become rundown. I was there in May and had multiple problems which management couldn't address in a timely manner. I spent more time on the phone with them inquiring as to when my air conditioning would be fixed or when my water service would be restored than having a vacation. This went on for 5 days. We changed rooms 4 times. I was offerred some sort of compensation the last night which the hotel has reneged on. I have followed up with the corporate area and they too promised me a timely response, next day in their words, and it has been a full week without the followup. No wonder that the local management has problems-it is mirrored at the corporate level. This is totally consistent with my trip there. I told management that I think the stars on the wall are from the past not the present/future. The property was bare of vegetation/planting, the pool badly in need of painting,the ski boat inoperable, the hobies with ripped sails and broken pontoons and rigging, the main jacuzzi broken for days without management knowing it and the staff more interested in conversing with each other than servicing guests paying $500/night.
