What a wonderful resort! The food was fantastic, the bartenders wonderful and the resort was absolutely beautiful. Couples Negril has the best beach that we have come across in our travels. The water was breathtaking and the beach very nice. There were always plenty of floats and chairs. Red flag service was pretty good. (Order two at a time) The room was nice. Humidity is high so you have to be careful in your room. The floors get very slippery if you open your balcony door for very long. You also have to beware of your camera fogging up. The room is much colder than outside. I learned that you needed to warm up your camera before going out. I used the blowdryer. That was the only thing it was good for! :) The food was fantastic. The Beach Grill was good in the evenings. Good pasta and fish. The Terrace was very good. You always had lots of choices. The restaraunt that takes reservations is wonderful. The pool was beautiful. Over 100 feet long. The hottubs left a little to be desired. Never seemed to be warm enough. The pool bar was the best. The bartenders were great. The resort itself was beautiful. Very lush vegetation. Gorgeous plants and flowers. Interesting animals also. Shopping: We met a couple staying at our resort. She was born in Kingston. We went shopping with them one day and did the craft "mall" and Times Square. The craft mall is only for those who want to bargin. They come at you from all directions. Times Square had the best prices we came across on Tshirts and liquor. Definately buy there if you want to take alcohol home. Twice as much at the resort and the airport. I can't wait to go back. Definately my favorite resort so far and we have stayed in the Bahamas, Cancun, and Jamaica (Sandals Royal Caribbean). Jamaica is wonderful.
