Nice hotel, shame about the location. Right on the end of busy Sangster International Airports' runway. Good accomodation and entertainment. Water sports were exeptional, and scuba diving on the resort absolutely first class. The water sports team are the best I have ever had the pleasure to dive with. Food very poor in comparison to other hotels I have visited, with little variety and catering only for American tastes. If burgers and fries are your idea of good food, then this is the place for you. If not steer well clear. Rooms are delightfully decorated, but are badly let down by their close proximity to the piano bar. The noise from the bar goes well beyond people singing and having a good time. It is more a drunken rabble, with screaming and shouting throughout the night, and if you are trying to sleep, forget it. Clientel mostly young Americans out to make as much noise as they can in the couple of days they stay there. If you are a European , visiting Jamaica for two weeks, I think the noise would totally ruin your vacation. If you are a young American you will love this place. I have visited the Caribbean many times, and this is the worst hotel I have stayed at, and represents poor value for money. The hotel and beach are superb, but the ambience of Sandals Mo Bay, does not match the surroundings. If I were to rate out of ten, I would say apoor four.
