Sandals Montego Bay 10/22/02

I have previously left a review on this resort, and at the same time, I sent an e mail to the hotel general manager with my concerns. As written in my earlier review, I was greatly disappointed with my holiday at Sandals. More to do with the lack of action when complaints were made. See previous review. Having read a Scottish Sunday newspaper, the Sunday Post dated 20/10/2002, I see some things never change. A couple who had booked their wedding at Sandals, were married in April at the resort. They were told their marriage licence would be sent on to them by the general manager Horace Peterkin. The licence never arrived. After several letters of comunication and many more telephone calls to the resort, the couple were told that they had no record of the wedding taking place. Now we are almost into November and this poor couple do not even know if they are married or not. To save any problems in the future, they have decided to marry again here in Scotland, as in their words, " we just do not feel married because of all the carry on. " So if you are planning to marry at Sandals, better book another wedding as well. JUST IN CASE. LOL. If anyone should wish a copy of the article , I shall be pleased to send a copy to you.
