This was our first visit to Starfish Trelawny and I very much regret to say also our last. Perhaps, in part, it was our choice of resort, for our requirements, that was at fault not the resort itself. The staff were very helpful and extremely friendly, Jennifer, Michelle, Garth and Laura to name a few. The entertainment staff were very enthusiastic and did their best to make people join in the activities. We had booked one of the garden cottages as they were advertised as "spacious", the room was very sparsely furnished, hardly what I would have called spacious and I worried somewhat about the electrics. One night I was awoken by a crashing noise to find that some plaster had fallen out of the ceiling! I do realise that this resort is advertised as a "budget resort" but the variety of food was very limited and in my opinion the poor selection was what would induce you to book for one of the other restaurants where you would have to pay a supplement! The seashells snack bar was very good and always busy, I wonder why! All in all we did have a relaxing time but I'm afraid that this was not the resort for us.
