I have stayed at the Whistling Bird every year for the last 10 years and LOVE it. The staff is wonderful and probably what makes this place so very special. The accomodations are simple yet very beautiful. I highly recommend the Whistling Bird if what you are looking for is a laid back, relaxing vacation. The grounds are maintained wonderfully. I can't forget the beach! It is fantastic. That plus the fact that you don't need to carry cash with you everywhere on the property-you simply run a tab and pay when you leave. The meal plan is a wonderful value and the chef is very accomodating to special requests.
