RIU Tropical Bay Negril 12/19/02

We stayed for 4 nights all inclusive at the RIU tropical Bay in Negril Jamaica and had a wonderfull and very relaxing time.

WE have also been to St. Lucia Sandals and we really liked this resort better and will probably go here again.

BEACH: excellent, white sand, lots of shade, clean sand, clear water. The beach is large and if you walk down the beach to the left Couples and Grand Lido are also on the same steach of beach.

ACTIVITIES: Windsurfing and snokeling were fun - for $15 you can take a small boat out to the reefs and snokel, we did this and saw lots of colorfull fish. The water is so blue and clear in Negril! It was great. They also have parasailing on the beach.

FOOD: Pretty good, not that many resturants - lots of great pasta dishes and we loved the Jerk Chicken at the Beach Bar. We liked the swim up bar also. Great drinks, we liked the dirty bannanas.

POOL: Nice pool bar - not a very large pool, but when the ocean is so close you dont notice.

ROOMS: Clean and very nice marble showers. Hairdryer in room - stocked bar with beer and sodas. We didnt like the beds, pretty hard and they were two twin beds just pushed together.

Overall - wonderfull resort, beautifull beach and the best service we have had.
