Beaches Boscobel Resort and Golf Club All-Inclusive

Reviewers Rating: Excellent
We arrived at Beaches Boscobel on April 11, 2004, the ride to the hotel is a long one about two hours. When I go there again we will catch the air shuttle only 25min. We were a party of 13 - 5 adults and 8 children ages from 2-4-7-8 -10-11-14-16. We all were greeted with cold drinks and cold wash cloths. Our rooms were not ready so the girl ask us if we would like to get a bite to eat. She took all our carry on and put them behind the desk and walk us to the restaurant personally. I was very worried about this hotel after reading so many negative reviews. If there ever was a problem they fixed them all. Our rooms were great on ground floor just as I requested. I did e-mail the hotel manager MRJMutton 4 months ahead of time. This man bent over backwards for all of us. I needed a birthday cake for my grandson who turned 7 while we were there. Mr Mutton took care of that. He introduced me to the food manager Mr R. Burrows...another great guy. He took care of making Daniels birthday very special. Not only did they make him a cake they came out singing and presented him with a gift! This resort goes way beyond the call of duty. The first day of our arrival there was a message on our phone so I could meet Mr. Mutton personally. Also there was a big pink bow on the door that read welcome. The rooms were big very clean, the grounds were clean too. The pool was monstrous. 3-4 times bigger than most. The beach was bigger than I had expected. You could not go out real far but 'twas enough for us. The kids had a blast on the water trampoline and I joined them on the banana boat. We brought our golf clubs but never used them as there were too many other things to do. The game room was state of the art 12-15 big screens with all the newest games. Check out the activities- they start at 10:30am the little ones made pencil holders and painted stones...lots more to do there but we were to busy playing pool, Olympics treasure hunt, charades name that tune and more. My 7 year old who is very shy even went on stage on talent night. He played the drums he had bought from the locals on the other side of the dock. If you go over there to shop look for Jackie. She is very nice. We ate at the Arizona. Very good food. Also the Italian restaurant Vienna, that was where we had Daniel's b.day dinner. Mr. LanceRoy took care of things and did a fine job.I would recommend this resort to any one with children. I could go on and on, but if any one has any questions please direct them to me at dj8680@aol.com and I will be more than happy to help you any way I can. We will go back again. If you plan on swimming with the dolphins book on line ahead of time as they get booked quickly. The white river tubes was a blast! Our guide Anthony was fun and full of information. As far as I am concerned, this Island is the best!
