We loved Club Ambiance - it was much better than we expected. It's a great place for the average, un-snooty person to go to. The price was right, the resort is much larger than it looks on their website. It was beautiful there. The grounds are lovely, the room was spacious-it overlooked the water. Little things wrong like you had to jiggle the toilet handle, the bath tub was old but the shower water ran hard and plenty of hot water. The food was plentiful and delicious. The staff was fabulous. There is a small beach and the water is not deep. The water was crystal clear and not mucky. They give you floats and the swimming / floating area is large. In addition to the beach there are two spots to go down stairs into the water. The resort is very private and since it only has 90 rooms and the resort is pretty spread out, it was never crowded. They are working on improvements all the time, so old reviews you may read are probably no longer accurate. We definately will go back to Club Ambiance again.
