My husband and I went to Club Ambiance October 23-30. We had booked a deluxe honeymoon room on Expedia. When we got to the resort, our room was not ready so we had some lunch. After lunch we went to check on our room and were told that they did not have a honeymoon room available but we would be moved the next day. The regular room was fine, the bathroom could use some updating but it was OK. We were moved around 2:00 the next day into honeymoon room 2. The honeymoon room was very nice. The room was huge and we had a balcony right on the water (Bad thing about the rooms - NO WATER PRESSURE). There were a couple of kids that hung out selling wood carvings along the wall but they definitely weren't pushy about selling their goods. I think we told them no once. The beach is small, we hung out at the pool most of the time. Jacqui at the pool bar is great, we loved her. The watersports guys are all very nice and friendly (JD, Mark, Tony, and Omar). Mark took us snorkeling and we saw 3 sea turtles. The food was always very good. I am a very picky eater and I could always find something to eat. I did eat the steak twice and it was delicious. We also did some activities (volleyball, mixology class, men vs women, bike ride to the caves). It was fun and we met a lot of people this way. The entertainment staff is great (Euwayne, O'Neill, Allison). The people that work here definitely make this place. We went to the disco a couple of nights with other guests that we had met. It was OK. We would hang out at the pier bar a lot at night. The weather was great, it rained two mornings while we were sleeping. You can't beat this place for the amount of money that you pay. I feel like we made a bunch of friends and can't wait to go back. Good food, good drink, GREAT people!
