Half Moon Club 03/16/2006

My family and i went to Half Moon Resort last November for 6 days. We were supposed to stay in a 3 bedroom villa but was upgraded to a 5 bedroom villa without asking. At first I wasn't sure about this because we would be further away from the rest of the resort and the beach but with the 5 bedroom you get 2 golf carts. With two teenage sons that second golf cart came in handy. We ended up loving the whole villa experience. You get a cook, housekeeper and butler that takes care of your every need. With picky eaters it works out great. For lunch and breakfast we ate at the villa and some nights my husband and I went out to dinner and the kids stayed at the villa and the cook made their dinners. I can't say enough about how friendly and warm the staff were to us. Anything we asked for, their response was "no problem".
The weather was beautiful, it didn't rain once! That was another worry going away tail end of hurricanne season but weather was perfect. Not much for teens besides tennis and swimming. Half Moon is a nice resort and we all enjoyed our trip there.
