Sandals Negril Beach Resort & Spa All-Inclusive

Just got back from a 6 day vacation. Had expected lot better from ‘Sandals’. The resort is old and needs major renovation. Majority of the rooms at this location are a run down. Old furniture, small rooms, and hideous bathrooms. My first thought when we were shown our rooms was ‘are we at the right resort??’ The bathroom was old and in poorly maintained condition. Shabby rugs in small rooms. The room had a new plasma TV and that’s what they call an upgrade/renovated rooms. The rooms/bathrooms were comparable to a 2.5 star hotel in the US.
It all depends on what your expectations are for approximately $500/night. We have been to other non-Sandal resorts in the Caribbean and they were marvelous – modern and new.
