St. Kitts & Nevis Hotel, Resort & Villa Reviews
Four Seasons 07/10/2003
Reviewers Rating: Excellent
Stayed at the Four Seasons for five nights in early July. Could possibly be the most relaxing property I've ever stayed at and without a doubt my favorite in the Caribbean.

Had a Mountainside room on the second floor with a great view of the mountain and driving range. Our balcony was quite spacious - we had room service dinner served to us on the terrace one evening. It was really top notch.

Relaxed mainly at the garden (quiet) pool. Had to get there before 10 to procure two chairs, but the ocean pool (larger and family friendly) always seemed to have a vacancy. Poolside service (water, Evian spritz, cold towels) was phenomenal.

Beach was great as well. No problems getting a chair and water was very calm. Took out a windsurfer and sea kayak (complementary) both of which were a blast.

Tennis facility was great - both hard and clay courts to choose from. Lemonade, water, cold towels and orange wedges provided courtside. Fee was $25 per hour.

Spa was also outstanding. I enjoyed a couples massage with my girlfriend ($220 for two, 50 minutes) and she had a hot rock massage ($190 for 80 minutes).

I played golf - course was very dry (as expected) but scenery was fantastic. Saw monkeys, goats, horses, etc. Water views were great. Course is tight though, so bring extra balls or leave the driver at home.

Food couldn't be beat. Quite expensive but on par with very nice restaurants in NYC, both in terms of food quality and price. Dined at Sunshine's two nights - do not miss it. Lobster and shrimp can't be beat.

Will absolutely be back.

Brian
