To our horror, this occurred while we were present and sleeping in the condominium! It appears the thief was intimate with the condominium. We believe the thief entered the premises through the sliding glass door located on the second floor that would not lock correctly. The thief took great care to ensure the room appeared undisturbed and the theft would not be noticed until after departure. Only purses and wallets were emptied of cash while jewelry and other valuables were left untouched. The theft was reported to the police and to an unfazed complex management. Though our stay at the Sealofts was a negative experience we enjoyed St. Kitts and found the people quite friendly. If you visit this piece of paradise and value your family security we recommend you stay at one of the other resorts.
