I have never been to a place that was so exquisite. The staff at the Ladera made us feel like we were the only people there. It is a 24 room hotel, with each of the rooms having one exposed wall with a beautiful view of the Piton Mountains, lush greenery, and azur blue water. I was concerned about the bugs, but there was always a breeze and I didn't notice them at all. This was the most romantic place I have ever seen, and certainly the most romantic place I have ever been. The food at the DaSheen Restaurant at Ladera was great. They had a buffet breakfast that was to die for - freshly made mango preserves, made to order omletts, and the most beautiful humming birds I have ever seen, right there to watch while you eat. There is not a lot of nightlife or shopping, but if rest, relaxation, and romance are what you are after, then this is your place.
