My husband and I went with another couple in summer of '99. The resort had a nice setting. The rooms are decorated with all the colorful caribbean colors. However do not be fooled, we had a superior room and the other couple had a standard and guess what, the only difference was the floor level. The rooms are identical and the view is not much better. It is not worth paying the extra money. The beach is not big but that does the staff from wanting you to join in water sports. There is a lot of that. There was nightly entertainment, nothing spectacular but good enough to pass the time. I rather leave the resort and go to club near by. The food and variety of the food is poor. They do not have much of a selection and since there is only two restuarants, they really did not change the variety. If you do not mind basic food, then you will be okay. One last thing, there is only one pool and kids that can get very noisy so if you planing to go, pick a time when you know that kids are in school here and in Europe because there are a lot of Europeans there too. Overall on a scale of 1-10, I rate the resort a 5.
