I wish I could check a poor rating! We booked our honeymoon at Sandals St.Lucia and were upgraded at the last minute to a suite. We were so excited!
After checking in (our room was not ready even though the resort was only at 80% capacity), eating a horrible italian meal and smelling sewage at the pool all day with no towels, we finally got our suite. The room was clean and nice and pretty big. We had a view of the oil storage facility that is in the cove next to the Sandals. Lovely. We tried to get our money's worth on the free drinks, but they were so terrible mixed that we stuck to rum & cokes. The wine selection consisted of red or white. The food was badly prepared and nothing was fresh. The service was awful except for a very few people who were helpful. The concierge service was not worth the extra money. The concierge desk always had a line and the phone was always busy. The pictures in the brochure were nothing like what the actual resort looks like. We were so disappointed in the whole place. It is not worth the high price.
