Stonefield Estate 04/30/01

We spent 3 nights at Stonefield Estate in April, 2001, and it was wonderful! It is located on a hill between Soufriere and the Petit Piton. The view from our deck and from the pool and restaurant was absolutely breath-taking. Each room is a separate villa with a large living room, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, outdoor garden shower, and deck with a hammock. The resort is within walking distance to the town of Soufriere, which is a real plus - you do not have to rely on taxis. You can also walk down a hill (long and steep) to the beach. We ate all but one meal at the resort's open-air restaurant, and the food and service was wonderful. And, the resort was very reasonably priced. We definitely recommend it.
