Hotel & Resort Reviews:
St. Lucia
Seahorse Inn 03/12/02
Reviewers Rating: Excellent
If you are looking for a personal accomodation rather than a anonymous hotel, this is your perfect place in paradise.... Let's start with the location in Marigot Bay, probably one of the most picturesque of bays in the Caribbean. It is conveniently located between Castries and Soufriere on the western side of the island, so you can go to all the major attractions of St. Lucia in a reasonable amount of time, even by means of public transportation. Marigot Bay itself has no big hotels, but a few nice restaurants and a beautiful sandy beach. The five-room SeahorseInn B&B (and the beach) is located on the remote northern side of the bay: you have to use a small ferry boat to get there. The atmosphere is personal and relaxed. With the hosts, Erica and Jim Kany, you feel like a friend rather than a guest. You will get plenty of useful tips and they will help you to make the most out of your precious time. We've stayed there for a week in March 2002 and the only tough thing was to leave that special place!
