St. Lucia
Sandals Golf And Spa 03/24/02

My husband and I went to St. Lucia on our Honeymoon in Oct 98. The Sandals Resort was very Nice. The food between the Halcyon and Golf and Spa was faboulous!! The Pier was great La Toc was our favorite. Went there twice. It rained most of the time we were there so it was a damper on our vacation. The rooms were very nice all cherrywood. The pool was great. We are ocean people growing up in Mass. we were very disappointed in the beach and water. They have tons of sand flees. YUCK!!! We loved the hamocks espically at night!! The drinks were good and we like you could order bottles of wine with dinner at the all-inclusive. The natives are not friendly at all. After being in Aruba x3 and Bermuda x1 They have nicer people than St. Lucia. Overall it was Sandals and the Resort that made the vacation. We did do one excersion and It was fun but A piece of advice DO NOT bother going in town Or doing excersions. stay at the resort. We propbably would of liked the Halcyon better. Much quieter!! The larger Sandals seemed like spring Break during the day.Judith
