I wish someone had been honest with me in regards to this resort. I see that it did get good reviews in the past so I assume that recently it has seriously taken a turn for the worst. We booked an oceanfront view room which had no view of the ocean, instead it was right above the pool and next to the bandstand. This location was very noisy.
The resort was very run down. Approximatley 50% of the tiles on the walkways, stairs and pool were chipped and broken. The handrail to our room had large chunks of wood chipped out. Mildew along the walls both tennis courts badly damaged. Oh did I forget the golf club I was given with the bent head?
I can say one good thing, that is the the bartenders were friendly, bar did have many name brand liquers and great drink specials.
The food at this resort was very poor. You will be hungry most of the time, that is until you see and taste the food which will make you lose your appetite (this is not an exageration). Also if you want wine other that the "House wine" at dinner, you'll have to pay extra at this all inclusive resort.
I would never reccomend this resort to anyone. The Wyndam Morgan Bay was an unbelievable disappointment.
