Hotel & Resort Reviews: St. Lucia
Ti Kaye Village 07/15/02
Reviewers Rating: Excellent
Ti Kaye Village is an excellent place for a vacation and more importantly for a honeymoon. If you are looking for large crowds, lines for food and noisy clubs, than Ti Kaye is not the place for you. If you want a nice, quiet, secluded, pretty place for a vacation or honeymoon than Ti Kaye is definitely the place for you.

The staff is excellent. They cater to your every need. The chef changes his menu every night and is more than willing to meet with you if you have specific dietary needs such as being vegetarian. The management will do whatever they can for you and react very promptly to all requests.

Ti Kaye is so small that you can get to know all the guests and all the staff by their first names when you are there.

It is beautifully situated on a bluff over looking the caribbean. It has its own somewhat private beach about 150 yards long. The views from all the cottages are stupendous. The cottages are all very cute with outdoor showers and hammocks. Some have plunge pools as well. And you almost never have to see your neighbors.

The only possible negatives that I can think of is that the access road to the resort from the main road is an undeveloped road. Even SUVS have to go at a a rate of 5 MPH. The other possible negative is that thebeach is down a set of stairs with 167 steps from the restaurant/pool area down to the beach. However, the staff will be happy to drive you down if you need it and to bring you back.

Overall I would give Ti Kaye 2 very enthusiastic thumbs up. A swell a 5 star rating. This is a great honeymoon spot That you will never forget.
