Sandals St. Lucia Golf Resort 08/29/02

When my fiance and I were researching different places to stay on our honeymoon, I was a little apprehensive about Sandals because of some of the negitive reviews I've read. After honeymooning for a week at The Sandals St. Lucia Golf Resort, I have nothing negative to say. In fact, our expectations were FAR exceeded. We loved the time we spent there!We were supposed to stay at the new Sandals in Rodney Bay, but of course it hasn't openned yet. We arrived at the Golf Resort(which is where we were moved to) and they told us that the resort was full and that we'd be staying at Rendezvous (another all-inclusive) for the first night. We were pretty bummed about that, but Sandals is comping one night of our stay and they upgraded us to a beautiful suite on their concierge level. We didn't even ask. The staff bent over backwards for us, the resort was beautiful and we really enjoyed the food. There were also a lot of activities during the day and at night. The drinks were great and definately NOT watered down and we had wonderful service for all of our meals. I would go back in a heartbeat and would highly recommend This property to anyone traveling to St. Lucia!
