If there was a 0 star, I would've rated it that. Rendezvous needs some major updating, rennovating and care. It was a total disappointment. It is not for non-smokers; there's no way to escape from all the smoke, between the Bar area, during 'Tea time' and during all other meals. Our room was directly on the beach, and wasn't worth the price. The wooden posts and beams are splitting apart. The more secluded pool (w/o the bar) was filled with vegetation and bug debris. The beach is public, which allows the general public to come with their pets and families and while we were there, garbage was left on the beach. It is not restful; apparently there were security issues that required more security guard staffing. With the proximity to the airport the noise is a factor too. We were at Rendezvous 1-1/2 days and due to my allergy to smoke, thankfully the Manager transferred us up to LeSport. It was like going from Hell to Heaven. We're hoping that the owners of Rendezvous consider rennovations and better care of the property for the future. We're also hoping that consideration be made for non smokers on the property. Housekeeping issues are lax, and even the mosquito netting in the bedrooms needed repair. We do not recommend it.
