We returned from Club St Lucia on Oct 2nd, which was 2 days ago, and already we are planning to book up for next year. It can only be described as the best holiday we have ever been on and we are missing everything about St Lucia. The restaurants, the staff, the entertainment and of course, the beautiful weather!
We stayed in a family suite situated in the Magic Parrot Village. The room was spacious, clean and always very cool as it had built-in air-conditioning. We were provided with clean towels and bedding and the rooms were cleaned every day.
The resort as a whole was always very clean and hygienic. Of course there were occasional bugs but that is to expected anywhere you go and it in no way caused a problem.
The staff were fabulous and we can honestly say we have never met friendlier people who are willing to do all they can to make your stay comfortable and fun-filled. We would like to mention in particular the M.A.T, which were the entertainment crew. They were present during the day and night and would always be of assistance or simply there to put a huge smile on your face. (These people were possibly one of the main reasons we enjoyed our holiday so much.)
There are 5 pools, including one with a swim-up bar (very nice) and 4 restaurants. These included an Oriental one, and our particular favorite, the International Grill which was buffet stlye. The food was lovely and very varied. I would strongly recommend this restaurant.
The beach was pleasant, (oh to be back sitting under a palm tree in the sun, staring out into the beautiful sea) and water sports were brilliant. We found there was always something to do at Club St Lucia and not for one moment did we feel bored. Whether you like to relax in the sun all day doing next to nothing or you enjoy activities, you will not be disappointed as this resort caters for all different types of people.
Finally we would like to say, for people who have read the reviews which aren't so appreciative of the resort, we can respect that people will have different views of places but we can honestly say in our opinion, that these bad reviews of Club St. Lucia are completely untrue. People who have complained about the cleanliness is not understandable. It would seem they stayed in a different resort as we found the cleanliness to be superb and can honestly not understand how people could comment in such a negative way.
Overall if you are planning to visit Club St Lucia, it is your choice which reviews you will believe. But in our opinion, believe the good ones. It is a lovely resort with the nicest people. Not only staff but also some friendly guests. So if you are booked to go, enjoy your holiday, we will definitely be back next year.
