We stayed at the rendezvous for 11 days in January.
The hotel overall is very attractive - beautiful grounds, lovely swimming pool, attractive semi-open air restaurant called the Terrace. There are three bars, a swim-up pool bar, Terrace bar open nearly all day and the late night piano bar which really does not close until the last person leaves or falls out the door!
We had a verandah room which could not have been better - four poster mahogany bed, sitting area, dressing area and a pink marble bathroom with a four jet shower big enough for two.
The food overall was o.k, some good nights, some not so good.
I have to say, that the best thing about staying at the Rendezvous is that they have the most wonderful staff! without exception, they were the friendliest staff I have ever met in my many stays in the Caribbean. Always smiling and dancing.
The staff shows are absolutely fantastic, very talented - boy can they dance is all i'm going to say!! Alvin & Deano, the entertainment co-ordinators, were the real stars.
The beach was lovely but there was alot of security which we felt was a little over the top.
All in all we had a lovely stay and would return - above all just to meet up with the staff again!
