Sandals Regency St. Lucia Golf Resort & Spa All Inclusive 04/19/2006

We went to Sandal's Regency St. Lucia in February of this year and this was our first time ever staying at a Sandal's Resort before. Never in all of our travels were we so disappointed in the service and overall cleanliness in any of the other places we have stayed.
Check in was as a group and very lengthy, we were given a room other than booked, with no explanation. (It turns out that I was glad, because the people in those rooms complained of big cockroaches)
In the hall one evening was a DEAD BAT with it's wings removed??? There was an odor of spoiled food lingering and construction was two doors down.
The beach had trash on it, and rats ran by my feet as we walked to dinner. Servers watered down my diet coke in front of me. Complaints resolved nothing nor did our travel agent complaining to Sandals.
The Sandal's Grande appeared much nicer than the Regency. We were not the only people there at that time trying to move from where we were to the Grande.
I strongly encourage anyone spending their money looking for a quality and enjoyable vacation to take close care when booking.

Adult couples-only resort with three pools, spacious beach
- Set on hills and a bluff above the Caribbean Sea 1.5 miles from Castries (capital of St. Lucia), this resort offers active vacations for couples.
- Adult, heterosexual couples (singles, children, and same-sex couples are not allowed) choose from various room and suite types, most with mahogany four-poster beds and some with plunge pools.
- Huge pools, six restaurants, a health/beauty spa, and activities provide fun-in-the-sun, unlimited food and drink, and romance.
- This all-inclusive resort includes various amenities in the room price.
