St. Lucia Hotel, Resort & Villa Reviews Reviews
Ti Kaye Village
01/07/2005
Reviewers Rating: Excellent
This was one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to. There isn't much more I could add to the previous review as that sums it up, but I will say that beyond the physical beauty of this place the people who work there are what make Ti Kaye exceptional. Everyone makes an effort to know your name and treats you with such individual attention that it makes this an even more relaxing vacation. If you are looking for nightlife and to stay connected with the world you have left behind for a few days, then this is not the place for you. If you are looking to truly disconnect, to find a place that is so relaxing that every day seems like two, to experience peace and true relaxation, then look no further than Ti Kaye. The only negative part of our trip was connecting flights in Puerto Rico. Don't do it! There are other ways to get to St. Lucia - find them, pay more for them, it will be worth it! We missed our flight and lost a day's vacation, and met lots of others in the same predicament while killing time in San Juan. Flights are delayed and cancelled like you would not believe. We were also told that 90% of luggage that is checked in does not make it from PR to the destination at the same time as the people who checked it - a few days late, or never to be seen again. If you must go through Puerto Rico, do not check - only take carry-on.
