This resort is located south of St. Vincent -- you fly into Barbados, hop another island jumper to a small island, then take a boat to this resort. Despite a frightening flight on the island jumper and a rocky ride, my husband and I could not rave enough about this island. Although it is less expensive than the Bora Bora Hotel, we felt it outclassed the Bora Bora Hotel in terms of privacy and food. The service was not as good as we had hoped. The island has a "flag" system instead of phones or other modern conveniences, and the staff in golf carts tended to drive right by when we had hoped for a maid to bring us clean sheets or for lunch. However, we did not let this destroy the feeling we had of being on our own island. Sure, there are other visitors in other villas, but you rarely see them. We woke up and walked out onto the beach from our accomodations, took showers in the stone shower, played chess and cards at night in the comfort of our dining area, then walked along the perimeter of the island taking in the amazing starlit sky. It was magical!
