Very secluded island paradise on the northern-French side of St. Martin. The lavish gardens paint a beautiful picture and the beach is wonderful, very calm, very secluded as well. Our only quams about the resort were that we saw a lot of ants all over the hotel, but from what I hear, that's a very common problem on the island. However, the staff was promt in addressing the issue and solved it adequately. The restaurants were so-so as far as we could tell, however, we only ate breakfast there 1 day and it was a cheezy buffet equvilant to a local diner back home in CT but with higher prices ($27 for 2 adults). The others looked nice but the menus were nothing spectacular and I think its a disservice to a person to eat at their hotel since the island is so small but offers many excellent choice for dining. The prices at these rests were also very high, much higher in many cases that most 5-start rests we visitied throughout our stay.
