Honeymoon you know. The resort was a great place to base our trip from. They had very nice rooms, great pools, Okay food. The kitchenette was nice for a light breakfast but we headed out around noon to shop and dine. You must rent a vehicle and explore to appreciate your trip. After a six day trip I feel I know the island as well as my hometown. For shopping Phillipsburg, for festive atmosphere great lunches and boutique's it's Marigot, but for dinner it is Grand Case ocean side restuarant row. mmmmm good. Had zero problems with crime, people were friendly but the island could use a little clean-up. Make sure you stop by the outdoor bar on the right side of the main road just beyond Orient Beach up on a hill it offers a magnificient view and a great mid afternoon pina colada.
