We were extremely satisfied with our choice. We rented a car and took various excursions about the island, but always longed for what felt like "our little corner" of the island at GCBC. The staff was very friendly, especially at the beachside restaurant. If the following routine sounds like your type of vacation (breakfast at the beach restaurant, lay in the sun, play in the water, take a drive, take a nap, ponder over the dinner choices as you stroll into town) then you'll be very happy at GCBC. We plan to return in a few years to GCBC at St. Martin after we've sampled some of the other Carribean islands.
