The setting of Orient Beach of course cannot be beat. The staff was simply wonderful especially the hostess, Francoise. I cannot stress enough how wonderful she is. She made us feel at home in Saint Martin and would do anything to make our stay more enjoyable. The Hotel is VERY clean and small in scale, which is a good thing in my opinion. The hotel is small with only 28 suites. However the rooms are quite large. Each unit has a balcony that overlooks the bay. The grounds are very lush and tropical and the hotel is footsteps from the beach. There is a fresh water pool as well as 2 casual restaurants on the property that offer live entertainment on some nights. One "Madras" is poolside. The more popular "La Playa" is right on the beach and has 2 bars, good food, a jacuzzi on the beach, beach staff, and sun umbrellas and lounge chairs on the beach. (These are included with your room). Your room rate also includes unlimited beach towels, and a welcome drink at La Playa.
