You will definitely need a car. Three big complaints: (1) cows on the beach (you had to dodge cow patties); (2) $10.00 charge for a beach chair; (3) $12.00 a day energy tax (just instituted a few weeks ago). This energy charge is in addition to the time share fee and island tax and with this energy charge, your bill on check-out can be quite unexpectedly high. While I do plan on visiting St. Maarten again in the future, I would not stay at this resort in the future. Martina A.
