The resort is very beautiful and clean. This is not very beach front as the hurricane in 95 washed most of it away. This food was not a 5* in my books and we went out to eat a lot. If you looking for activities this is not the place to go. There are no water sports of any kind and no daytime activities. Some tips for the travelers to the Maho. The planes are very loud, although they didnt' bother us much as it was neat to watch. Don't use the coffee maker or drink the botteled water in your room as it is at an extra charge. Also be prepared for very slow service, it's called island service. If you are looking for a clean nice place to relax, the Maho is the place to go. Also the Dutch people that work in the resort are very rude. I would not reccomend it to any of my friend and won't be going back.
