Destine at the pool bar is awesome, and that descibes the whole resort! I wonder where some of the reviwers stayed, and what they expected, but if you want Le'Meridan in Manhattan, then stay there, and quit 'yer whining! If you want a great all-inclusive, with great staff, good food, and all the drink you can stand...read on.. the rooms are great, all new, and actually, the mountain-view rooms give you a view of the great salt pond, and the local road, and lets you see alot more than a pretty harbour and cruise ships. The al-la-carte restaurants are 4-star fine dining, and even the buffet is well worth the price. Far better than Cuba or Mexico, in flavour and value. My daughter was treated like gold, as were we, and I can only assume from the few bad reviews that some folks think that, because the bought an all-inclusive, they didn't need to tip...shame on you! I tipped all the staff that did for me, and we were treated like gold! I would highly recommend this resort, and have traveled all over the world...value for dollar exists here...but don't treat the staff like sh*t and expect them to trip over themselves to please you...these are a proud people, and if you're nice, polite and TIP, they will make your vacation one to remember! As of March 1, highspeed in lobby for we laptop addicted folks. Feel free to email for more tips...as a family we loved this resort, and have already booked for next year.
