La Samanna 05/10/2006
Reviewers Rating: Fair
My husband and I stayed several nights at La Samana in St. Martin before making our way on to Anguilla. La Samana is supposed to be the "Ta-dah" resort there. I was not very impressed. The rooms were small and the furniture old. Not exactly what I would call luxurious. The grounds were not very well kept either, and the people were not at all friendly. We paid more for our room per night at La Samana than we did at a five star resort on Anguilla. The next day we asked everyone we could in our hotel where the ferry was. No one would tell us. I would not go back. I'd much rather spend my money somewhere where I will be treated nicely.
