This resort was very nice, not too huge and definitely not the most luxurious, but had everything we expected and some pleasant surprises. The beach is fabulous; rooms were clean, food quite edible, and plenty of frozen cocktails to keep us cool. I would recommend the Allegro to anyone who is not expecting to be pampered or treated like a big cheese. Yes, the service is a little slow, it's a laid-back environment. Relax; that's what vacations are for!
