My husband and I shared our 10 year anniversary here in June 2002 and found this property to be a good choice overall. The landscaping was especially nice for a newer property and our room was in the building closest to the beach making for a truly "ocean front" view. The room was comfortable and we found the kitchenette to be very useful as well. Hotel staff were reserved, but polite. The beach was lovely and we didn't find the Club Med next door to be intrusive in any way. Our only complaint was that the pool was not usable during our 5 night stay -- the water was an uninviting, markedly green color. We enjoyed the onsite restaurant - the food was good and the atmosphere was nice, though a bit pricey. All in all the property had a nice hotel feel versus a resort atmosphere -- partly due to the very low occupancy during our visit. We found this very relaxing, but might have found the overall atmosphere more appealing if it was a bit more lively.
