Our room had a few minor maintenance problems. The toilet ran constantly and the shower faucets were comming out of the wall. The restaurant, Hemingways, provided nice dinners. Breakfast and lunch were just average. The restaurant wait staff was NOT very friendly, but the front desk clerks and tour desk employees were helpful and more amiable. Though the Sands is an above average property, it did not meet our expectations of a 4 or 5 star resort.
